Nashua VFW Post 483 announces Pearl Harbor Day ceremony will be held Sunday, December 4.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua's Pearl Harbor Day ceremony will be held in the first week of December on the 75th anniversary of the 1941 attack on the United States. The ceremony, organized by Nashua VFW Post 483, will be held Sunday, December 4 at 9 a.m. on the Main Street bridge.
There will be a gathering at the post following the ceremony featuring coffee and donuts.

The attack by the Japanese on December 7, 1941 on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii killed over 2,000 American soldiers and wounded over 1,000 more. About 20 Navy vessels and more than 300 airplanes were destroyed. The attack led to U.S. involvement into World War II.
