Pedestrian Hit By SUV Near Nashua

Police said a man was seriously hurt after he was struck by a Toyota Sequoia sport utility vehicle in Hudson May 6, 2017.

HUDSON, NH — A man was struck by a sport utility vehicle and seriously injured in Hudson Saturday night, according to police. The crash happened in the area of 64 Lowell Road near the Nashua border at about 11:30 p.m. The vehicle involved was a 2003 Toyota Sequoia driven by a man, police said.

"An ... investigation was conducted and it was determined the male pedestrian was walking east across Lowell Road when he was struck by a 2003 Toyota Sequoia," Hudson police Lieutenant David Cayot said in a statement.

The pedestrian was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

"Drugs, alcohol, and speed do not appear to be factors in this collision, however this collision remains under investigation by the Hudson," Cayot said.
