Debbie Logan, property manager at Twin Ponds at Nashua town homes and apartments, has gained local and national notoriety for her attention to doggie detail.
As featured in this month's New Hampshire Magazine Logan enlisted the help of Poo Prints, an "eco-friendly dog poo management system" that utilizes a simple test kit to analyze dog droppings that can be matched to pets living in a particular registered community. There are about 365 dogs currently registered at Twin Ponds, and it's made all the difference.
Still, poo happens. But guilty owners who slip up are fined $100.

"Believe me, this really helps. We still have violators, but the fine is a big incentive," said Twin Ponds employee Logan Hayes.
You can also read a transcript of Logan's appearance in 2010 on NPR's "This American Life" with Ira Glass, which details how she collects DNA samples from the dogs living in her complex, and how she is inspired by the "Mission Impossible" theme song every time an undocumented pile of doggie DNA appears.
