Why are you seeking elective office?
I'm running for office again to help protect NH from the progressive movement that is trying to infiltrate the State I love. The Pandemic exposed a lot of the far lefts agenda especially right hear in Nashua with over the top Mandates, closers and restrictions. I will provide a strong conservative and commonsense voice in Concord as my past voting record proves.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Potential future mandates and expansion of CRT especially in our schools. If elected I will immediately form a team of like minded Reps and draft a bill to prevent these draconian mandates from ever being put in place again and stop any further advancement of CRT.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Most of my opposition are Incumbent Democrats which follow their leadership virtually without exception. For example is was in leadership in 2012 when we passed Voter ID not 1 Democrat voted in favor of one of the most commonsense issues there is.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
It's the same old song and dance with Democrats Tax and Spend, expand their socialistic ideology . Luckily Republicans controlled the House last term so they were not able to pass any of their progressive agenda.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
Most of the other issues will come out when I'm knocking on doors. Unlike a lot of politicians on both sides of the isle I believe the term Representative means exactly that you are in office to represent your constituency not special interest!
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As I stated earlier I was in leadership(Majority Whip and then Majority leader) during the 2010-2012 session where I helped pass what I consider my 2 most meaningful bills Voter ID and the abolishment of the 2006 bill that allowed minors to get abortions without notifying their parents. Both of these bills had to override vetoes by Governor Lynch no easy accomplishment.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
God gave me 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason ,so do twice as much listening as talking.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have a proven conservative voting record in the NH House and now with seven Grandchildren 3 of which are NH residents and soon 2 more, as cliche' as it may seem I have never been more concerned for their future and I plan to do everything in my power to make sure they can enjoy their childhood as much as I did my own!
