Player at The Nash Casino Wins Largest Progressive Jackpot in New Hampshire History

Nashua, NH – The Nash Casino, New Hampshire’s largest charitable gaming venue, presented the largest progressive jackpot in New Hampshire’s charitable gaming history, $402,108, to R.B., a Marblehead, Massachusetts resident on Sunday, Sept. 6.

During a game of three card poker, the player entered for a chance to win the progressive jackpot when he placed an optional $5 side bet. He was dealt a straight flush (a four, five and six of spades), which triggered a spin of the Bonus Spin Xtreme (BSX) wheel where he won the top prize.

"There was an electric feeling in the air when the straight flush was revealed,” said Eric Althaus, general manager of The Nash Casino. “Patrons and staff held their breath in support of the player and the venue felt like it was vibrating as the dial turned around the wheel. It was a special moment."

Since opening in March 2025, 128 jackpots have been awarded at The Nash with seven players winning over $100,000, including the previous progressive jackpot record holder, a Lowell, Massachusetts resident, who cashed out with $233,490.95 on Valentines Day. To date, winners have taken home over $31 million in progressive jackpot winnings, of which nearly $17 million has been awarded in 2026.

In progressive three card poker and other games, players can make an optional $5 side bet for the chance to win a cash prize, with about 30 tables contributing to the shared prize pool. The BSX progressive system triggers a chance for a player to spin a prize wheel whenever the dealer draws three-of-a-kind, a straight flush or a suited ace, king and queen. Prizes range from $25 to the “Triple Diamond” jackpot, which dispenses the entire shared progressive pool to the player who spun the wheel. Since that pool regularly consists of approximately 30 tables, the prize money can grow significantly.
