Police Are Searching For Nashua Man Missing Since January

Michael Jones, 34, has been missing since Jan. 17. He suffers from mental health and substance abuse issues, according to relatives.

NASHUA, NH — The Nashua Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a Gate City man who has been missing for nearly four months. Michael Jones, 34, of Nashua, was last seen on Jan. 17, 2019, according to family and friends. At the time he went missing, Jones was staying with friends in the area of Harbor Avenue.

Police noted that before he went missing, Jones was also actively contacting rehabilitation services for treatment. His family reported him missing to police on Jan. 23.

Detectives have been actively investigating the case since then, according to Lt. Daniel Mederos of the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.

Jones is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs around 175 lbs. He has brown hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing jeans, white sneakers, and a leather coat.

Jones is the second disappearance reported in Nashua in recent months. Family and friends of Michael McClain, a Manchester man who was last seen at a local restaurant in Nashua on April 20, are also searching for him and raising awareness about his mysterious disappearance.
