Police: Nashua Man Used Plow Stake to Attack Other Man
George Mwaura arrested by Merrimack Police; held on cash bail, after incident near the Inn Season Resorts.

A local man was arrested this week after allegedly assaulting another man with a wooden plow stake, according to a police report.
George W. Mwaura, 20, of Superior Drive in Nashua, was arrested on March 31, 2015, and charged with two counts of second-degree assault and a single count of reckless conduct, all felonies.
According to a report, at around 3:19 p.m., officers were sent to the Harris Pond Mall on Daniel Webster Highway, near the Inn Season Resorts, for a report of a man attacking other men with a wooden machete.

When they arrived, the officers spoke to the reporting party who alleged that the incident involved two men, one who was injured severely. The officers made contact with the witnesses and involved parties and questioned a man with “a serious head laceration and assorted abrasions,” according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton.
“An argument had ensued between Mwaura and the involved male, during which time it became physical and both parties started to fight with each other,” Tarleton reported, after speaking with witnesses. “Mwaura, armed with a broken wooden plow stake, struck the involved male numerous times, (with) the assault causing the above noted lacerations and abrasions. That male party was subsequently transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”

Mwaura was arrested and charged. He was held on $20,000 cash bail and was arraigned yesterday.
Tarleton added that more charges could be forthcoming since the incident is still under investigation.
Mwaura is no stranger to law enforcement, according to reports online. He was arrested about this time two years ago for sales of a controlled drug, marijuana, second offense (four counts), a felony; and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute marijuana, a felony, according to a post on Nashua Patch. Mwaura, who is reportedly a Kenyan national, was allegedly in possession of two pounds of marijuana in his home. Later that year, in December, police in Nashua arrested him on driving charges.
