Police: Pair Stole and Pawned Property

Nashua woman, Chelmsford man arrested this week by Nashua Police.

Two people are facing felony charges after they were arrested this week for an incident earlier this month.

Cassondra Davis, 26, of Blossom Street in Nashua, and Ross Clapper, 24, of Lafayette Terrace in Chelmsford, were arrested at around 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 12. Davis was charged with felony theft by unauthorized taking; Clapper was charged with receiving stolen property, also a felony.

According to police, at around 2 p.m. on Oct. 4, officers were sent to a Downtown Nashua location for a report of a theft complaint. During the course of the investigation, the officers learned that “thousands of dollars worth of property had been stolen and pawned at a local pawn shop,” according to the report, including Armani statues. Police later learned that the suspects involved were Davis and Clapper.

Both were released on bail and are due in Nashua District Court on Nov. 10.

According to online reports, the Tilton NH Police arrested Clapper in the summer of 2012 for drugs, marijuana, in a motor vehicle.
