Townsend Cops Say Missing Resident Found In New Hampshire

Update: Joseph Paul Knisell, 42, who was reported missing by a family member on May 13, was found on Thursday.

Knisell's car, a white, 2014 Jeep Patriot with Massachusetts license plate 2RAY93, is also missing, police said. He may have connections to Sarasota, Florida, where he lived previously.

TOWNSEND, NH — The Townsend Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing man who has not been seen or heard from since May 2.

Joseph Paul Knisell, 42, who lives in the Country Estates Development on Turnpike Road, was reported missing by a family member on May 13, authorities said.

His cell phone has not been active since May 7, when it was pinged in Manchester, according to police.

Knisell's car, a white, 2014 Jeep Patriot with Massachusetts license plate 2RAY93, is also missing, police said. He may have connections to Sarasota, Florida, where he lived previously.

"Our main goal is to locate Mr. Knisell to check his welfare, because he may be in need of medications that he requires," said Sgt. George Reidy, who is investigating the case.
