Possible Prank Call Sends Nashua Police To 7th And Ledges Streets

Police said there was no danger to the public during Tuesday's incident after several officers were in the neighborhood.

NASHUA, NH — Police in Nashua are reporting no danger to the public after an incident on Tuesday in the area of 7th and Ledge streets.

Just before 2:30 p.m., police reported on X that several officers were in the area conducting an active investigation. Residents were requested to stay out of the area if possible and to expect delays. About 20 minutes later, the area was cleared, police said on X.

According to InfoNH, the incident appears to be a prank call or swatting incident, reportedly involving a report of several people shot in the area, which turned out not to be true. Police are still investigating the fake call.
