Ramani Anil Shah Charitable Foundation Supports YMCA of Greater Nashua's Aquatic Program
The YMCA of Greater Nashua is pleased to announce that it has received a $2,500 donation from the Ramani Anil Shah Charitable Foundation in support of the YMCA’s annual support campaign. This grant will allow the Y to purchase two pace clocks for the Nashua YMCA swimming pools. Pace clocks are used for swim team and individual swimmer training.
According to Christopher Pfaffenroth, Director of Competitive Aquatics at the Y, “The purchase of digital pace clocks will improve the overall appearance and efficiency of almost all aquatic activities and classes. They are also much easier to read since they use bright LED lighting which will help members with poor eyesight see the time more clearly. For the swim team, it allows swimmers to complete more complicated sets with a much greater awareness of the work they have completed. We are grateful for this gift from the Ramani Anil Shah Charitable Foundation.”
