Rare Moose Sighting in Nashua

You don’t see a moose in Nashua everyday.

The grounds crew and passersby at the city’s Edgewood Cemetery on Tuesday saw a moose roaming the grounds, WMUR reported.

The creature was a male moose possibly weighing over 600 pounds.

WMUR reported Fish and Game officers corralled the animal and planned to relocate it north.

Moose sightings in Nashua are rare; Fish and Game officials said there’s about one a year.
