Registered Sex Offender Fails to Check In, Again

Kenneth Amber now faces a class A felony for his non-compliance as a registered sex offender.

Kenneth L. Amber, 66, listed as homless, was arrested April 24 on an arrest warrant charging him with failure to inform police of his whereabouts, which is required of him due to his status as a Tier III registered sex offender.

It is not the first time Amber was arrested for violating his duty to inform requirement. According to information on the statewide Sex Offender registry, Amber was convicted on similar charges in January of 2009, Sept. of 2010 and March of 2012.

On April 1, 2013 detectives in the Nashua Police Department’s Youth Services Division identified Amber as again being non-compliant with his registration requirements.
