Community Celebration to Promote Recovery, Hope, Connection, and Overdose Prevention

NASHUA, NH — Revive Recovery Resource Center is proud to announce the inaugural Gate City Rally for Recovery, taking place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Greeley Park in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Held in recognition of National Recovery Month, the Gate City Rally for Recovery will bring together individuals in recovery, family members, community organizations, healthcare providers, advocates, and allies to celebrate recovery, honor those impacted by substance use disorder, and promote a stronger, more recovery-supportive community throughout the Greater Nashua region.

As Revive's first community-wide recovery rally in Nashua, the event is designed to raise awareness about recovery, reduce stigma, connect community members to local resources, and demonstrate that recovery is possible for everyone.

The free, family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, food vendors, recovery speakers, family activities, wellness opportunities, community resource tables, recovery-friendly employers, harm reduction education, overdose prevention resources, and opportunities to connect with organizations providing prevention, treatment, recovery support, housing, healthcare, family services, and other essential community resources.

"Every day, we witness the incredible resilience of individuals and families working to build healthier lives in recovery," said Jessica Carter, Executive Director of Revive Recovery Resource Center. "The Gate City Rally for Recovery is an opportunity to celebrate those successes, honor the lives that have been impacted by substance use disorder, and remind our community that hope and recovery are possible. We want individuals and families to know they are not alone and that support is available."

Since opening its doors, Revive Recovery Resource Center has grown into one of Southern New Hampshire's leading peer-led Recovery Community Organizations. In 2025 alone, Revive served more than 1,200 unique individuals through its recovery community centers, outreach initiatives, and community-based programs.

Working alongside healthcare providers, first responders, treatment organizations, municipalities, and community partners, Revive has expanded access to peer recovery support, harm reduction services, and overdose prevention resources, contributing to the continued reduction in overdose deaths in the City of Nashua through collaborative community efforts.

Revive's impact extends well beyond traditional recovery support services. Over the past year, the organization welcomed 44 youth and family members through Camp Mariposa, a year-round addiction prevention and mentoring program for children affected by a family member's substance use disorder.

Revive also provides peer recovery support within hospitals, treatment courts, correctional facilities, and throughout the community, helping individuals access treatment, stable housing, employment, education, and long-term recovery support. Through its mobile harm reduction outreach program, Revive connects individuals with lifesaving overdose prevention supplies, education, referrals, and compassionate, person-centered care that helps bridge the gap to recovery.

This fall, Revive will celebrate another major milestone with the opening of New Hampshire's first fully accessible Level III recovery residence for women in Manchester while continuing development of a new Level III recovery residence in Derry.

Together, these projects will expand access to safe, supportive, recovery-oriented housing for individuals rebuilding their lives after substance use disorder and represent a significant investment in strengthening New Hampshire's recovery infrastructure.

The Gate City Rally for Recovery will also recognize the many community partners, volunteers, professionals, peers, and advocates whose dedication continues to strengthen recovery efforts throughout Southern New Hampshire.

Recovery is a reality for millions of Americans, and National Recovery Month serves as an opportunity to celebrate those successes while increasing awareness of effective prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and recovery support services. The Gate City Rally for Recovery aims to inspire hope, reduce stigma, celebrate resilience, and demonstrate that recovery is not only possible—it is happening every day throughout our communities.
