RISE Spring Information Session Scheduled for January 28
The Rivier Institute for Senior Education (RISE) will hold an Information Session via Zoom to discuss Spring 2021 courses.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the Rivier Institute for Senior Education (RISE) is conducting the spring semester online via Zoom. The six-week semester is from March 1 to April 9. Each class session is 60 minutes and is held between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Join the Information Session via Zoom on Thursday, January 28th from 10 to 11 a.m. to learn about the courses and the new online registration process. Newcomers may email RISE at rise@rivier.edu for a Zoom link. Please include your first and last name.
Seniors can choose from more than 30 courses. There are no learning prerequisites, no tests, and no credits earned. The membership fee is $50.00 for one or more courses.

Course topics include literature, history, music, fine arts, technology, philosophy, personal safety, personal growth, writing, politics and the world, health, arts and crafts, enrichment, and yoga.
Zoom is easy to use, and RISE will provide support for individuals who might be hesitant to participate using this format. Zoom allows a continuation of lifelong learning and provides a way to connect while RISE is off-campus.

Information for the course listings and the link to register will be posted at www.rivier.edu/rise by February 1st. The registration period is from February 1st to February 14th. The deadline to register is the end of the day on February 14th.
The RISE program, tailored for “learning in retirement,” is in its twenty-fourth year. Individuals over age 55 are welcome to learn more about RISE from the RISE website www.rivier.edu/rise and/or www.facebook.com/RISE1997. Additional information is available by calling (603) 897-8623.
