Police: Assault Leads to Scuffle and Stolen Cell Phone

Julian Bush and his alleged victim were acquaintances, police said.

Julian Bush, 25, of 6 Watts Circle Apartment E, Hudson, was arrested Jan. 26, who allegedly assaulted and robbed a man of his cell phone in Nashua.

Bush was charged with Robbery, a class B felony.

According to a police narrative, on January 26 at approximately 10:49 p.m., a report of a robbery on Progress Avenue was made to Nashua Police. Officers made contact with the victim who reported being assaulted by the Bush as he was demanding valuables from him.

A physical altercation ensued, and Bush allegedly stole a cell phone from the victim, then fled. He was spotted on Ash Street and arrested by patrol officers.

The victim and Bush are acquainted, police said.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Bush is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $20,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division on January 28, 2013.
