Ryan Farris Named Dir. of Programming at Westwood Park YMCA
He will oversee all programming, community outreach at the Y's newest facility, located in northwest Nashua

The YMCA of Greater Nashua welcomes Nashua native Ryan Farris as the Director of Programming at the Westwood Park YMCA
“We are excited to welcome Ryan to our staff team. He has a deep connection and key contacts within our community and most recently served as Athletic Director at Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High, where he managed schedules of practices, games, tournaments, referees, transportation and special events for 14 athletic teams and worked collaboratively with athletic directors at all area middle and high schools,” said Joseph Manzoli, Jr., YMCA of Greater Nashua Chief Operating Officer. “Ryan comes to the Y with many ideas to expand our youth and adult leagues, develop and launch sports and other activities that bring youth, adults and families closer together, encourage good health and foster connections through sports, fitness, camps, family events and enrichment activities.”
Mr. Farris will be overseeing all programming and will be very involved with community outreach at the Y’s newest facility, located in northwest Nashua.

He is a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College where he majored in sport management, and is an alum of Nashua High South. He is pursuing a Masters in Athletic Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.
Mr. Farris is a life-long resident of Nashua and played varsity sports at both Nashua High School South, and Colby-Sawyer College. He was involved in player and coach development through his work at Colby-Sawyer College, while creating and serving as the president for the Men's Lacrosse club. Mr. Farris has extensive experience in coaching student athletes and has coached both middle and high school students in the City of Nashua's Babe Ruth Baseball League. Along with coaching experience, Mr. Farris has completed an internship with the NHIAA, and has played a key role in the initial research behind implementing Unified Sports in high schools across the state.
