Nashua Man Arrested on Robbery, False Imprisonment Charges
Merrimack Police allege that alleged stalker and vandal Reynardo Rodriguez-Placenci assaulted, restrained a person, stole their cellphone.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man with previous arrests in Nashua was scheduled to be arraigned yesterday on numerous charges after an incident in the food court of the Merrimack Premium Outlet mall, according to police. Reynardo Rodriguez-Placenci, 22, was arrested on Nov. 19, 2016, and charged with unarmed robbery, false imprisonment, and domestic violence-simple assault.

Police were sent to the mall on Friday night for a report of an assault incident in the area of the food court around 10 p.m., Sgt. Kenneth MacLeod of the Merrimack Police Department noted in a press statement.

“Upon arrival, the responding officers met with the victim who reported being assaulted and that a cell phone was also taken after being restrained,” MacLeod stated. “The person responsible was identified by the victim as Reynardo Rodriguez-Placenci and that he had already left the scene.”
Officers investigated the incident – including eyeing surveillance video that was obtained – and reportedly confirmed what the victim and witnesses at the scene told officers, the report noted.

A warrant was issued for Rodriguez-Placenci’s arrest and he turned himself in on Saturday. He was held on $5,000 cash bail and scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
Rodriguez-Placenci is no stranger to police, according to reports online. In mid-January, he was arrested in Nashua for criminal mischief, and then, two weeks later, arrested for stalking and default or breach of bail conditions, according to Nashua Police.
