Applefest is a fun family event that supports The Salvation Army. It takes place on September 19th at Sullivan Farm in Nashua.

The Salvation Army of Nashua will be hosting their 8th annual Applefest, on Saturday, September 19th from 9:00am-4:00pm.  The event will be held at Sullivan Farm at 70 Coburn Ave. in Nashua.

“Applefest is a celebration of family, community and New England traditions,” said Major David Moore.  “It is also one of our primary sources of revenue to support the many programs we run here in Nashua. We enjoy the opportunity to bring our community together and are very grateful for the support we receive from our neighbors across the state.”

Applefest is a day long, outdoor family event.  There are games and activities for children and people of all ages, including crafts, scarecrow making, face painting, hay rides, pumpkin painting, pony rides, and lots of prizes.  Demonstrations from local business and groups will take place throughout the day.  Apple pies and other fresh made food will be available for sale, along with other products from local craft vendors.  Applefest takes place ra or shine.
