Saturday Night Out at Studio 99

Tonight's musical trifeca, Three For the Road, at Studio 99 is hard to beat. Three singer/songwriters, each with her own unique brand of soul and grit and could be a band unto herself – soaring vocals, percussive guitar, stomp box, harmonies, piano and honest to the bone songwriting. Each is a dynamic performer with splashes of Blues, R&B, Folk and Pop. When the three join forces, the experience will leave you breathless. Add to that, an intimate setting and a biting sense of humor, and this show is sure to fill your soul in all the right places.

Danielle Miraglia

A strong steady thumb on an old Gibson guitar is the driving force behind Danielle Miraglia’s blues flavored guitar style. Add a raw, powerful, whiskey tinged voice and one might be tempted to label her a blues artist. But while Miraglia’s style pays homage to these blues traditions, her classic rock verve, catchy melodies and eclectic array of song subjects that range from deeply personal to socially relevant give it an original twist that is all her own.

Jen Kearney

Jen Kearney’s musical style has been described as muscular, sinuous, soulful, rollicking and Latin-drenched. Her lyrics, sometimes deeply personal and introverted, sometimes blending funky grooves with socio/political themes, are as soul-baring as the voice delivering them Kearney’s deep husky alto, that can be as gritty as it can be sweetly smooth, has been compared to some of her most honored influences, but leaves no doubt that it uniquely belongs to her.

Amy Petty

Amy Petty’s sound and songwriting is a compelling, complex and original soundscape that weaves a lush tapestry of folk, pop, rock and blues ballad. Art, mystery, and spirituality influence and infuse her poignant, evocative and sensual songs. These sonic canvases showcase the heartfelt emotion behind her lyrics and provide a foundation over which her voice and choral harmonies soar.
