Sex Offender Faces New Felony Charge

Stanley Urbanowicz, 26, of 70A Walnut Street, Nashua, was arrested June 26, charged with duty to report, a class A felony.

On May 30, 2013, detectives in the Nashua Police Department’s Youth Services Division identified Urbanowicz, a Tier II registered sex offender, as being non-compliant with his registration requirements.

Urbanowicz failed to report the Nashua Police Department to complete his semi-annual sex offender registration as he was required to do. Due to a previous conviction for failing to register, Urbanowicz’s charge was upgraded to a Class A Felony.

A Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment in State Prison, exclusive of fines.Urbanowicz was released on $8,000 personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at the 9th CircuitNashua District Court on July, 11, 2013.
