Sex Offender Failed to Notify Police of Move to Concord

Marc Peron, 48, of 67 North State Street, Concord, a registered sex offender, was arrested Oct. 17 on a warrant charging him with felony duty to inform, for failing to notify police that he had moved from Nashua to Concord.

On May 29, 2012 detectives from the Youth Services Division identified Peron, a Tier III registered sex offender, as being in violation of his registration requirements. Peron was convicted in 2000 of several counts of felonious sexual assault with a minor under the age of 13.

Peron was required to report in person to the Nashua Police Department within five business days after changing residences. Peron failed to do so and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.

Due to a previous conviction of duty to inform, Peron’s charge was upgraded to a class A felony. A class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Peron was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court November 13, 2012.
