Snow Forecast Increased--12 to 18 Inches Now Likely for Nashua

The snow is expected to last from Sunday morning through Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service increased the snow forecast for Nashua through Tuesday.

Now 12 to 18 inches of snow is expected. The snow is expected to start early Sunday morning.

  • A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM SUNDAY TO MIDNIGHT EST MONDAY NIGHT. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
  • ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 12 TO 18 INCHES OVER THE COURSE OF THE 48 HOUR PERIOD ENDING LATE MONDAY NIGHT.
  • TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL START TONIGHT AND CONTINUE WITHOUT MUCH BREAK RIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY.
  • IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY. THE ADDITIONAL SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO ADD WEIGHT TO ANY HEAVILY SNOW COVERED ROOFS. SNOW BANKS WILL CONTINUE TO GET LARGER...PERHAPS IMPEDING VISION WHEN TURNING INTO ROADWAYS.
  • WINDS...NORTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH.
  • VISIBILITIES...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.
  • TEMPERATURES...10 TO 21.
