STATE REP'S SHOULD VOTE DOWN THE CALL FOR CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION

If a thief is breaking into your home, you would call 911. Yet while too many unaware citizens have slept, a silent encroachments attacking the foundation of our liberty has been in process since the 1970's, but only those constitutionalists like the John Birch Society, Eagle Forum and others have called 911. If this silent war attacking our liberty succeeds: fighting for the "right to life", how we educate our children, the right to bear arms, the freedom to worship God, and freedom of speech and press will have no protection. As a matter of fact, our whole Bill of Rights and the essence of the United States Constitution are in peril.
If you are unaware of what is called an Article V call for a Constitutional Convention (ConCon) by the States, this is the source used to endangers all of our God given rights. This issue needs widespread exposure and understanding.Till now, all of our Amendments have been initiated by the Federal Congress, passed by the House and Senate by 2/3 majorities: then 3/4 of the state legislature need to pass the Amendment before it becomes law. But the second option is called a ConCon. It needs 2/3 of the states to call for a convention, then the federal congress is obligated to call for a ConCon. The problem with this method which has never succeeded, is that it cannot be limited to one Amendment because there is no way this Convention can be controlled. It is sovereign and can make up its own rules.
Our weakness that makes "we the people" vulnerable to this deceptive process, is: most voters are addicted to voting the party line without knowledge to hold office holders to constitutional limits. So punishing those at the ballot box who in the majority have "trumped the Constitution with "party loyalty" is a difficult task that makes many enemies. Blaming ignorance for the incompetence that has our nation reeling on the brink of bankruptcy is ludicrous. It is more accurate that the White House and majorities in the Congress are disloyal and guilty of "betrayal of trust to their oath of office." Jefferson's powerful words ring true here: "The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first."
We need to put all of our enemies out of office who are in office, who have helped accumulate a $17 trillion national debt by ignoring the Constitution. Too bad, the Jail time deserved is not a viable alternative, for our jails are full. Imagine, since 1980 when the national debt was $987 billion, it has sky rocketed to $17 trillion. Shouldn't that be a mandate to cut spending? But a "power elite" since the 70's has offered a solution that tells us that the Constitution is the blame, offering a ConCon as a solution, while during this time "big spenders" hide their generosity with tax payer money by saying: "I'm for a Balance the Budget Amendment."
As a matter of fact in 1979 Public Law 95-435 required the Federal budget to be balanced by 1981. We have a moral problem that no law will ever fix. Without a "citizen police force"armed with voting records, how can we have an informed electorate to demand accountability? We need true representatives of the people in office.Check out your Rep's and Senator's Freedom index vote from 1999 to 2013 athttp://www.thenewamerican.com/freedomindex/ Our leaders are bankrupting us by ignoring the Constitution, while assumed powers rule us with unwritten law. Fixing the Constitution as remedy for such arrogant betrayal is like blaming the "contract" between two businessmen, for either party violating the contract.
Tuesday there will be a an Executive Session vote by the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs Committee in Concord on HCR10 a resolution for New Hampshire to call for a Constitutional Convention. I urge you to call your State Representative to vote against HCR10.
Sincerely & Respectfully
Russ Payne
