Status on the Largest Development in NH

Here is the latest regarding the large parcel of land where Green Meadow Golf Club is today-

Last week was busy. On December 1st the Structuring hearing was had in Judge Temple's court. Both sides continued to argue for their perspective. BCM fought for time to review the certified record and to have additional time for briefs and motions. The Town and the intervener Hillwood wanted these cases to be resolved as soon as possible, and wanted clarification on what the court's "stay" meant in order to give the town "guidance" on how the town and Hillwood can move forward in some areas of this project. The Motion for Clarification is expected Dec. 15, and the Objection needs to be filed by January 15, 2022. As you know with each legal step there are additional costs. The Green Meadow Golf Club situated along the Merrimack River in Hudson, NH has been identified as the location of the proposed Hudson Logistics Center.

If you live or work in Hudson, Nashua, Litchfield, Pelham, Windham, Londonderry or Tyngsboro this is going to impact you.

Hillwood, a development company based in Texas, is planning to build three flow-through distribution centers for Amazon to lease for the next 15 years. The three proposed buildings will have a combined footprint of 2.5 million square feet or nearly the size of 45 football fields, taking the place of trees and grass, while displacing the region's wildlife.

The building plans call for 363 loading docks, approximately 840 trailer parking stalls, and 1,840 parking spaces for cars. This puts the potential of thousands of additional vehicles on the roads of Hudson and the surrounding communities, which means a lot more traffic.

Save Hudson, NH is dedicated to saving the town of Hudson, NH's most valuable 400 acres of green space from being turned into a massive 2.5 million square foot distribution center displacing wildlife and wetlands in the process.
