Student Injured In Nashua School Bus Accident

The accident, which involved 3 students, occurred around 7 a.m. on Wednesday on West Hollis Street, Nashua superintendent's said.

NASHUA, NH — One student was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after a bus accident on the way to Nashua High School South, the school's superintendent confirmed in a statement.

The accident, which involved three students, occurred around 7 a.m. on West Hollis Street, according to Superintendent Mario Andrade.

Police said a total of five people were on the bus at the time of the crash and that two of the students were in wheelchairs, according to WMUR.

The student taken to the hospital had a minor injury and the transport was a "cautionary measure," Andrade said, adding that the two other students are now home with their parents and the others on board, the bus driver and bus monitor, were not injured.

"Thank you to the city of Nashua first responders for their quick action, care, and support," Andrade said.
