NASHUA, NH — An elderly woman from Nashua was struck and killed Wednesday night while walking on the Everett Turnpike and New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s help finding a vehicle that may have been involved in the incident. Juliette Koss, 68, of Nashua, was found collapsed on the southbound side of the highway in the area of the Exit 4 offramp at around 7 p.m. on May 15, 2019. Troop B troopers were sent to the scene while Nashua Fire and Rescue teams also arrived and determined that she was deceased.

Within minutes of first responders arriving, state troopers learned that Koss was struck by a vehicle — a tan colored mid-to-full-size SUV type of vehicle — according to several witnesses. This suspect vehicle should have front-end and bumper area damage.

The New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit was requested to investigate the incident. Three lanes of the turnpike were closed for around four hours.
