Nashua No. 3 'Most Dangerous' City in NH

Manchester topped a list compiled by Law Media.

Manchester is the most dangerous city in New Hampshire, according to a new report.

Law Street, which covers law and public policy, released its “Safest and Most Dangerous States” list.

In 2012, Manchester had 624 violent crimes, including a murder, 72 cases of rape, 205 robberies, and 346 reports of aggravated assault.

The national rankings only included cities with a population of 25,000 or more. Rankings were based on the ratio of violent crimes compared to population. The data was taken from the FBI’s most recent Uniform Crime Report.

New Hampshire was ranked the third-safest state in the country. Maine was No. 1; Vermont was No. 2.
