Three Charged for Selling Narcotics

On October 9, 2012 members of the Nashua Police Department Narcotic Intelligence Division arrested three subjects after an investigation identified them as being involved in the sale of controlled drugs within the city of Nashua.

The investigations were conducted by detectives of the Narcotics Intelligence Division over a several month period. Arrested were:

• Ryan Haggerty, age 27, of 45 Orange Street, Apartment B, Nashua, New Hampshire, was arrested on an active arrest warrant for Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Sale of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride. Haggerty was found in possession of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, at the time of the arrest and was charged. A search warrant was then conducted on Haggerty's residence and vehicle. As a result of the search, Haggerty was subsequently charged with one count of Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, with Intent to Distribute, two counts of Possession of a Narcotic Drug (Vicodin and Carisoprodol), one count of Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Drug, Cefurox, one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug, Marijuana, and one count of Criminal Liability to Unlawful Sale of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride. Haggerty is being held on $100,000 cash bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on October 10th, 2012.

• James Celata, age 23, of 45 Orange Street, Apartment B, Nashua, New Hampshire, was arrested on an active arrest warrant for Unlawful Sale of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride. Celata was found in possession of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, at the time of arrest and charged. Celata is also being charged with three additional counts of Unlawful Sale of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, one count of Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Sale of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride. Celata is also being held on $100,000.00 cash bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on October 10th, 2012.

• Nicholas McCaw, age 27, of 45 Boyd Road, Hudson, New Hampshire, was also present at the time of the arrests of Haggerty and Celata and was found in Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, and was charged. McCaw is being held on $20,000 cash or surety bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on October 10th, 2012.
