Hunger Games Catching Fire Premiere to Benefit Soup Kitchen: Thursday Night!
Chunky's Cinema in Nashua has partnered with Paul Shea, organizer of Fancy Friday events, to bring you an exclusive opportunity to catch the premiere of a blockbuster film, and raise money for a local charity!
This will be the second time that I have partnered up with Chunky's Cinema in Nashua to bring you an exclusive opportunity to catch the premiere of a blockbuster film, and raise money for a local charity. No lines, no waiting. This time we will be raising money for the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter capital campaign, to help them out with the costs of their big move!

$5 from each ticket will go to the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter Capital Campaign fund, and could be matched at 66%! Tickets will be will call only, no ticket will be sent to you. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
Our most recent premiere event for The Great Gatsby raised over $400 for Gate City Community Gardens. This go around, we have a goal of raising $600 for the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter Capital Campaign. As you may have heard, NSK&S is moving to a new building, and is working to raise the funds to invest in the new location, and effectively serve Nashua's at risk population for years to come.
Not only will this donation help them serve those in need, but it could have a bigger impact than just the money we raise- with matching funds. Two anonymous donors have committed to donate $150,000, if the community is able to raise $100,000 by December 31st! This means that your $5 could turn into as much as $8.33. If we are able to raise $600, then that could be turned into just under $1000 for our local soup kitchen's big move.
Join us for a great time, for a great cause, and let's help those who would otherwise go hungry at the Fancy Fundraising premiere event of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire! Additional donations will be graciously accepted, with all proceeds from the event benefitting the charity.
