NASHUA, NH — State troopers were sent to a truck crash on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua Friday.

Around 3:15 p.m., near the Exit 5 offramp, a commercial dump truck, towing a loaded equipment trailer, crashed in the median on the northbound side of the highway. The truck, Amber Lagace, the public information officer for state police, said, was facing southbound.

“Investigating troopers,” she said, “determined that the commercial vehicle had swerved to avoid a merging motorist, resulting in the truck and trailer jackknifing and sliding off the roadway.”
