Trump in Nashua: 'Build a Wall,' Newspaper Spat, Protester Removed

Donald Trump campaigned in Nashua Monday, addressing illegal immigration and going on the attack in response to a scathing editorial.

NASHUA, NH — Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump campaigned in Nashua Monday, renewing his promise to build a wall to stop illegal immigration and attacking a local newspaper that wrote a scathing editorial against his candidacy.

Trump held a rally at Pennichunk Middle School that drew a capacity crowd.

About halfway through his speech, a protester was removed after yelling “Fascist!”

Earlier in his speech, while addressing illegal immigration, Trump said, “We’re going to build a wall. We’re going to maintain the border.”

Trump then attacked the Union Leader, which on Monday published a scathing editorial calling Trump a “bully” and comparing him to Biff from “Back to the Future.” Trump called the paper’s publisher a “loser” and said the Union Leader is “garbage.”

Trump had better things to say about the New Hampshire primary, which is Feb. 9. He vowed to protect its first-in the-nation status.

“You have a lot of power,” Trump told the crowd. “New Hampshire will always maintain its place if I win.”
