Voter fraud and corruption destroy the civil society

Finally it looks like the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office is prosecuting voter fraud cases from 2012. Hopefully this story from Keene is the beginning of a serious investigation into voter fraud abuses.

The Attorney General has independent authority to determine if there is enough evidence to look into the potential for wrongdoing in the Nashua Duck scandal. In light of some excellent reporting from the Nashua Telegraph this week, it looks like there may be sufficient cause for concern there.

Fraud and corruption undermine Americans' already tenuous trust in government. They damage citizens' faith in civic institutions and promote cynicism at a time when when Americans are already too cynical.

I would like to see our community leaders defy their own political masters and stand up to denounce these occurrences. Put party and partisan politics aside and put and end to fraud and corruption.
