Nashua is getting another grocery store Thursday when the discount chain Aldi opens near Whole Foods.

NASHUA, NH — Aldi, a discount grocer, is opening its new Nashua store Thursday.
The 270 Amherst St. location is set to open at the site of the former Nashua Motor Express. Whole Foods is next door.
“We are pleased to bring our first store to Nashua to help customers get high-quality products at everyday low prices,” said Bruce Persohn, an ALDI vice president, in a statement. “We challenge shoppers to switch from national brands to our high-quality exclusive brands and stretch their dollars without compromising quality. As important as price is, the only way to attract and keep shoppers is to have quality products.”
