Wild Gunfight in Nashua: 1 Person Shot, 2 Arrested
Police said the victim was shot in the back and arrived at a local hospital in a bullet-ridden car Monday night.

Two Nashua residents were arrested Monday after a wild gunfight that covered several locations and ended when a victim who was shot in the back arrived at a local hospital in a bullet-ridden car, police said.
Ryan Mateo, 19, of 4 Louisberg Sq., Nashua, shot the 20-year-old male victim in the back from the passenger seat of a vehicle, police said. He was charged with first-degree assault and reckless conduct. Police said the driver was Rony Guzman, 20, of 16 Nevada St. He was charged with first-degree assault and criminal liability to reckless conduct.

The victim was treated and released from Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
Police said on Monday at about 7 p.m., they received a report of shots fired on Kinsley Street. More shots were fired in the area of Lovell Street and then Palm Street, police said.

Officers issued a be-on-the-lookout alert for a maroon Acura involved in the shooting.
Mateo and Guzman were being held in custody pending an arraignment Wednesday.
