Winter Weather Advisory for Nashua: 1-3 Inches of Snow, Sleet

The roads will be the worst late Wednesday night and early Thursday.

Sleet, rain, and even some snow will hit Nashua Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Several reports say Nashua will get 1-3 inches of snow.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory:

  • A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR CHESHIRE AND HILLSBOROUGH COUNTIES FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 8 AM EDT THURSDAY...
  • HAZARD TYPES...SLEET...SNOW...AND FREEZING RAIN.
  • ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF UP TO 1 INCH...ALONG WITH AROUND A TRACE OF ICE.
  • TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS RAIN BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO SNOW AND SLEET. FREEZING DRIZZLE AFTER MIDNIGHT WILL RESULT IN LIGHT ICING.
  • IMPACTS...SNOW AND ICE WILL MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS.
  • TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S.
