Wolf Hollow Half Marathon benefits YMCA

3C Race Productions Wolf Hollow Half Marathon supports Y of Greater Nashua’s annual support campaign

More than 930 racers came out to run for the 2013 Wolf Hollow Half Marathon, Nashua's first half marathon through the scenic and shaded course in beautiful Mine Falls Park, now in its second year. This event held on November 24 was billed as a great event for experienced runners not ready for a half marathon can team who could up to run in the 2-person relay with legs of approximately 7.6 and 5.5 miles respectively. The accompanying 5K gave family and friends of the half marathoners their chance to run through the gem of Nashua's park system.

In its second year, the race grew from about 400 registrants in 2012 to more than 930 this year. The YMCA is appreciative to 3C Race Productions, who supported the Y through a portion of race proceeds.  Michael Amerello presented the YMCA of Greater Nashua a check for $6140. This donation will benefit the Y’s annual support campaign, allowing the Y to award scholarships to needy and deserving kids and families to enjoy Y programs, services, and membership.
