Woman Sexually Assaulted at Closed Nashua Business: Police

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Friday, charged with sexually assaulting a young woman earlier this month.

Abhishek Sachdev, 32, of Royal Crest Drive, was charged with felony aggravated sexual assault and misdemeanor prohibited alcohol sales.

The victim was under the age of 21, police said. The assault was reported July 13.

The victim told police Sachdev provided her with alcohol while they were at a closed downtown business then sexually assaulted her. The pair did not know each other, police said.

Sachdev was held on $50,000 bail pending an arraignment.
