Women Arrested After Armed Robbery at Nashua Hess Gas Station
Viviana Rosario allegedly brandished gun during robbery; Joanne Harden reportedly drove the getaway car.

Two Nashua women were arrested earlier this week after an armed robbery on Aug. 16, at the Hess Express gas station on East Hollis Street.
Viviana Rosario (left picture), 27, of A Gillis Street, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 17, and charged with felony robbery, felony criminal threatening, and possession of a controlled drug, also a felony. Joanne Harden (right picture), 44, of Heon Court, was also arrested on a felony criminal liability to robbery charge.
According to a Nashua Police Department statement, officers were sent to the Hess Express on East Hollis Street for a report of an armed robbery at around 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 16.

A woman, according to a store employee, had entered the store, displayed a gun, and demanded cash. She then fled with “an undisclosed amount of currency,” according to the report.
Police reported that there were no injuries but the woman allegedly pointed the gun at a customer in the store, too, at the time of the robbery.

Detectives were assigned to the case and during the course of the investigation, “Rosario was developed as a suspect and subsequently arrested,” according to Lt. Denis Linehan, of the criminal investigation division.
“Harden was also developed as being involved during the robbery for driving the vehicle used to flee the scene and was also arrested,” he stated.
After being arrested, Rosario was allegedly found to be in possession of a number of doses of Clonazepam, a anxiety and seizure medication.
Rosario refused bail and Harden was held on $10,000 cash bail. Both were arraigned in Nashua District Court on Aug. 18.
Both are facing up to 15 years in prison and fines if convicted.
Previously, Rosario has had a few run-ins with the law, according to online reports.
Last August, she allegedly robbed a Subway Restaurant on Main Street with a knife, according to a post on Patch. In April 2010, she was charged with a driving infraction in Merrimack, according to the Merrimack Journal. In April 2009, she was arrested on a simple assault charge, according to The Lowell Sun.
