Worker Killed At Nashua Condos Was Electrocuted: Officials
A worker was killed in Nashua at the Cannongate condominium complex Thursday after his lift hit electrical wires, fire officials said.
NASHUA, NH — A construction worker was killed in Nashua Thursday afternoon after authorities said his hydraulic lift hit electrical wires at a condominium complex. The incident happened at Cannongate condos on Cannongate Road at about noon.
"A construction worker was working in a hydraulic lift," Nashua Deputy fire Chief Glen MacDonald said in a statement. "The lift came in contact with electrical wires. The worker received fatal injuries."
The identity of the worker was not immediately released. Nashua police, the state Fire Marshal and the federal Occupational Safety And Health Administration are investigating the case.
