MANCHESTER, NH — A teen has died due to injuries sustained in a car accident in the Queen City on Sunday. At just before 8:30 p.m., police were sent to the area of Beech Street near Harvard Street for a report of a crash. A Hyundai Elantra, according to police, had been driving the wrong way on Beech Street before crashing into a Mercedes. The driver of the Hyundai, Heritier Wakilongo, 19, of Manchester was taken to the hospital and later died. The driver of the Mercedes, a 59-year-old man from Hollis, also sustained minor injuries, Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department, said. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the crash to contact them at 603-668-8711. Anonymous tips may also be provided to the Manchester Police Crime Line at 603-624-4040. Got a news tip?
