YMCA Announces Recently Elected Board Leadership

YMCA ANNOUNCES RECENTLY ELECTED BOARD OF DIRECTORS' LEADERSHIP
The YMCA of Greater Nashua recently celebrated its 132nd anniversary. As the organization continues its commitment to strengthening community, the Y is pleased to announce the current leadership of the board of directors. The policy and strategic direction that is set by the Y board of directors serves as a guide for the organization’s work in youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
“The Y works every day to ensure that kids and adults have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive,” said Mike LaChance, CEO of the local Y. “Board members represent our service area and each one brings a diverse set of strengths and knowledge, as well as passion for service.”
Officers of the organization include: Chief Volunteer Officer Steve Lynn (Managed Accounts Leader, Fidelity Investments), Vice President Maggie Morris (Practice Administrator, Merrimack Smiles), Secretary Anna O’Herren (Director, Pharmacy and Retail Sales, Walgreens), and Treasurer Joseph Thomas, (Retired CFO, M/A-Com Technology Solutions).
Individuals elected to the board over the last several months include: Peter LaQuerre (Enterprise Software Developer, Oracle); Doreen Manetta (Senior Vice President, Enterprise Bank); Simon Thomson (Government Relations Manager, Sheehan Phinney Capital Group); Dr. Laura Miller (Pediatrician, Foundation Medical Partners/SNHMC).
