The YMCA of Greater Nashua hosted a roundtable conversation with Sen. Twelve organizations participated in the discussion, ranging from the New Hampshire Hospital Association and the City of Nashua Public Health and Welfare Department to a small transitional housing nonprofit.

Much of the conversation focused on the difficulty of getting people registered, particularly minority populations. Y CEO Mike LaChance said, "Working together with local, state and federal constituents, we can help increase visibility for health care options available to the residents of the greater Nashua community."
Sen. Shaheen added, "I'm proud to announce that this year, premiums are lower for those enrolled in plans through the Affordable Care Act" due to a law she helped pass to "secure the most significant update to the health insurance law in a decade by expanding and enhancing ACA premium tax credits." Shaheen also said, "I'll keep working in Congress to lower health care costs, reduce prescription drug prices and ensure cost is never a barrier to care for New Hampshire families."
