The YMCA of Greater Nashua is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $13,000 Community Impact Grant from New York Life to support camper scholarships and family events at Camp Sargent this summer. In addition to the $13,000 grant, New York Life Agent Earl Prolman of Nashua contributed an additional $2,500 to provide camping opportunities to children in the Greater Nashua community who would not otherwise be able to afford a summer program.
“We are grateful for both New York Life’s $13,000 investment and Earl’s three decades of dedication to our organization. His support of our programs have had a lasting effect on the entire community,” said CEO of the YMCA of Greater Nashua Mike LaChance. “New York Life’s funding has directly benefited many people in southern New Hampshire and Earl has always been an incredibly involved and highly valued member of the Y and the community.
Each year Earl and his wife Marilyn not only personally support the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign with a personal gift to provide low income children with an opportunity to attend camp, but they recruit others to do so.
