10 Arrested During Portsmouth Sobriety Checkpoint

According to the New Hampshire State Police, 419 vehicles were stopped on Aug.

On Aug. 8, the New Hampshire State Police conducted a “Sobriety Checkpoint” on the Spaulding Turnpike in the city of Portsmouth. A total of 419 vehicles were stopped and screened, with the following arrests resulting;

Sean Cottrill, 43, Epping, DWI

Erik Barstow, 45, Portsmouth, DWI

Daniel Leduc, 27, Dover, DWI

Raymond Sambuaga, 40, Somersworth, DWI

Benjamin Gosselin, 26, Dover, DWI

Stephanie Nagy, 32, Dover, DWI, Transportation of drugs, open container

Paul Durkin, 45, Stratham, Operating after suspension

Anthony Montoya, 29, Somersworth, Transportation of drugs

Marissa Santos, 20, Dover, Transportation of alcohol by a minor

Derrick Hewitt, 32, Brooklyn, NY, Possession of a controlled drug

All those charged are scheduled to appear in the 10th Circuit Court-Portsmouth Division on Sept. 8, at 8 a.m.
