Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Our Mission.”, captures the purpose that drives everything we do. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. We achieve this excellence through rigorous training and preparedness. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

When the revealed over the weekend that , we couldn't wait to find out who else was going to be playing the seaside stage this summer. Fortunately, we didn't have to. Though the schedule won't be officially unveiled until Friday, a list of the artists who will be performing is available now at the <a href="http://www.riverhouse53bow.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">River House</a> restaurant, the main sponsor of the arts festival. All you need to do is stop in and grab a bite to eat. So we did just that on Tuesday, stopping in for lunch (the open-faced ham and cheese sammy was fantastic, by the way). What we learned is that in addition to DiFranco, some big names like Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin and the Cowboy Junkies will play the Prescott Park Arts Festival this summer. Some of the other artists include the Grammy award-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops, the Irish quintet Lunasa, The Duhks, Iris DeMent, Irish fiddle champion Eileen Ivers, Lake Street Dive, Peter Yarrow, and Hot Club of Cowtown. We won't give away the dates of this summer's shows yet, though. For that you'll have to either head over to the River House yourself or wait for Friday's official announcement.
