Sometimes it only takes one person to make things come alive. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Harry Kopelman...
The story of Harry Koppelman and friends comes to the West End Studio Theatre when ACT ONE presents a staged reading of Look...There’s A Boat, a new play by writer Lester Dubow.
Look...There’s A Boat introduces us to eleven very colorful characters who become “family” by sharing their stories and the wisdom gained from their life experiences. Playwright Les Dubow has drawn from real-life people and events to create a story that is not only hilarious and heartwarming, but rich in detail and emotional depth.

“I had the outline for the play some twenty-five years ago,” says Dubow. “At that time I was much younger than the central character, Harry Koppelman. When I started to work on the script last year, I was fascinated to see how my perspective had changed, now that I was actually older than Koppelman.”
Look...There’s A Boat will be performed Fri, June 26 at 8pm; Sat, June 27 at 2pm & 8pm; Sun, June 28 at 2pm at WEST, 959 Islington St., Portsmouth, NH. Tickets are $15 / $12 for seniors & students ($1 processing fee for credit cards). You can purchase online at www.actonenh.org or reserve your seats by calling 603.300.2986 and pay at the door.
