Alleged Portsmouth Heroin Dealer Held on $75K Bail

An alleged Portsmouth heroin dealer with a long rap sheet was held on $75,000 bail Monday following her capture last week as part of a drug sweep.
Chelsea Glover, 22, of 289 Main St., Somersworth was charged with selling $40 worth of heroin to an informant working with Portsmouth police. Judge Sawako Gardner ordered Glover held on the high bail amount during an arraignment in Seabrook District Court.
Prosecutors said Glover has a criminal history that includes charges of drug possession, criminal threatening, credit card fraud and shoplifting.Glover was targeted in a drug sweep of the Seacoast last week that netted nine arrests. She initially evaded capture but was caught Friday at a hotel near the Portsmouth traffic circle. Authorities said an anonymous tip led to her arrest.

The drug sweep was focused on the Gosling Meadows public housing complex, authorities said. Among those arrested was Persephanie Lesperance, a model and former Maxim "Hometown Hottie" finalist.
