PORTSMOUTH, NH — Pro Portsmouth has unveiled the logo for the 49th Annual Market Square Day Festival and 10K Road Race.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 13, in Downtown Portsmouth.
Artist Carolyn Vibbert’s submission was selected as the 2026 Market Square Day logo on Thursday.
According to Pro Portsmouth, the design will appear on all race and volunteer T-shirts, as well as the festival T-shirt. Those shirts will be available at the Pro Portsmouth booth in Market Square during the event and on the Pro Portsmouth website on demand through a partnership with Blue Dolphin.
The unveiling took place at Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, identified by Pro Portsmouth as a longtime sponsor of the 10K road race. Pro Portsmouth Executive Director Barbara Massar thanked area businesses that support the event, including 2026 Program Partners Mass General Brigham Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Ocean Property, The Fabulous Find and Lonza. Pro Portsmouth also listed festival and race supporting sponsors M&T Bank, Harrigan Insurance, Coca Cola Beverages Northeast, When Pigs Fly Bread, Marathon Sports, alpha graphics, Blue Dolphin, ad cetera graphics, and LMNT.
The annual event will again bring entertainment to the Pleasant Street Stage, with music and dance acts scheduled throughout downtown. The organization said crafters, local businesses, and food vendors will also set up on Portsmouth streets during the festival.
The Market Square Day 10K Road Race will start the day with a 9 a.m. start in Market Square. Race registration is available online through the Pro Portsmouth website. Pro Portsmouth is also seeking volunteers for both the road race and festival. Information is available on the group's website or by contacting Amanda Gourgue at 433-4398 Ext. 4 or coordinator@proportsmouth.org.
Drivers should also expect downtown parking restrictions beginning at 5 a.m. on June 13. Streets will be posted where parking will be prohibited during the festival. The organization said restrictions will be enforced and vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
