Organized through the local chamber, the event underscores ongoing community-focused services available to Portsmouth-area individuals and businesses.

Portsmouth parking rates to increase next month (wmur.com) — Portsmouth is raising downtown parking rates for non-residents starting October 1, with the first three hours at $3 per hour and $6 per hour after that, while resident rates stay the same. The city council also expanded the workforce parking program by adding more stickers, extending hours, and dropping a transaction fee to help lower-wage workers who drive into town.

Dan Band is coming to 35 Corporate Drive in Portsmouth on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 5 p.m. The event benefits Veterans Count and partner organizations, and organizers explain how Seacoast residents can help provide emergency aid and mental health support to New Hampshire service members, veterans, and their families.
   

5. Tuesday Seacoast Roundup: Hoium's late goal lifts Portsmouth girls, more results (seacoastonline.com) — Portsmouth High School girls soccer edged Londonderry 1-0 on Tuesday thanks to a late goal by senior Stella Hoium, moving the Clippers to 4-1-1. The roundup also highlights other Seacoast soccer, field hockey, golf, and volleyball results, including a Portsmouth field hockey win over Rye and Winnacunnet's upcoming trip to Portsmouth.
